Groom for Improvement
I must admit, ever since I started having my eyebrows threaded about six years ago, I have never even thought about waxing again. Don't laugh....... all the male celeb's are shaping their brows. Becks and Peter Andre for example.....I said don"t laugh. The results are cleaner, sharper, longer lasting and of course kinder to the skin. Not having hot wax smeared onto your face is definitely the way to go.I met famed Brow Guru Shavata Singh on a press trip to London some time back and must admit she did a lovely job and on top of that was a really sweet girl and not caught up in the whole celebrity bubble, even though she has some high profile clients. Liz Hurley being one of them. A few months ago I visited Harvey Nicks in Edinburgh and went to the Shavata Brow Bar. My brows truly were raised when the girl charged me £25.00. Did I fall asleep and she charged me for the use of the bed for an hour, or had I not realised she had threaded my face, chest and legs? These were the questions I asked myself. It is a little steep so when I discovered the Benito Brow Bar in Fraser's I had to try it out. The results were great, and although much less privacy than Shavata's place I couldn't complain at just £10.00. If you don't mind shoppers peering over you as you are preened then give this a go. Visit www.benitobrowbar.co.uk for locations.
