It's true, I'm make up mad and when I'm not writing my weekly column in Scotland's best read Sunday newspaper The Sunday Mail or my Beauty Spot page at 5pm you can find me with brush in hand working on a blushing bride. www.craigalexanderwilson.co.uk and www.createthedream.co.uk www.5pm.co.uk

Bridal Mania

I must apologise folks for not being online of late and updating my blog. Its just been manic at the moment. Bridal Season is in full swing. Busy, but I love it. Working on models and photo shoot's is all well and good but when you play a part in making someone look great and feel fab on the biggest day of their life is extra special and I do share their joy. Weekdays and weekends I've been painting and perfecting many a bride and last week I had the pleasure of creating a look for my friend Joanne. All the best to her and the lovely Jason, who tied the knot last Friday. I cant wait to see the pics and upload the professional shots onto my site.Pics and Blooms do a great job and their photographs always show the brides and the bridal parties off at their best. www.picsandblooms.co.uk

Now I always get asked how to create the lovely luminous look, that highlights cheekbones and brightens the complexion. My secret weapons are really quite simple. I'm a massive fan of Mac's Strobe Cream. This is is a pearly liquid highlighter than can be worn alone, under, mixed with make up or on top. Apply a few spots with a foundation brush or latex sponge to cheekbones and then sweep a little of Bobbi Browns Shimmer Brick in the shade of your choice on top. It's really that simple.
