It's true, I'm make up mad and when I'm not writing my weekly column in Scotland's best read Sunday newspaper The Sunday Mail or my Beauty Spot page at 5pm you can find me with brush in hand working on a blushing bride. www.craigalexanderwilson.co.uk and www.createthedream.co.uk www.5pm.co.uk

My Fair Lady

Sunday wasn't a 'day of rest' this week as I was up with the larks. My friend Jenna was getting married and I had to be on site at 8.30 am to start the transformation. Naturally pretty anyway, my job really wasn't that hard but with a stunning gown and headdress I wanted to create a look that was fitting. To me it was very much a modern twist on 'my fair lady' with even the usually small details being bigger, brighter and more beautiful. Full on and Fabulous. Just the way a bride should be on the biggest day of her life.

The look I have named 'Platinum Princess' because of the colour palette I used. Pearly whites, silver blues and cool slate greys created a shimmering but wearable metallic eye that I darkened down along the lash line and smudged with a kohl liner.I just can't wait to see the official shots and post them on my website.

I also used a new discovery. The Kaleidoscope Face Kit from Le Metier de Beaute. Available at www.liberty.co.uk. 4 skin perfecting powders. Check out this cool new range.
