Yesterday I was in London for a privileged preview at the new No 7 Spring Collection from Boots. I was to meet No 7's Creative Director and top Make-Up Artist Lisa Eldridge at the swanky St Martins Lane Hotel.
The name behind countless high profile advertising campaigns and with a string of celebrity clients that reads like one of Elton John's guest lists, the No 7 Make up brand is in good hands. Talking to Lisa it was clear just how passionate she is about her product.
Working with the likes of Kylie Minogue and Kate Moss you would never know that Lisa was used to mixing in such circles and as we talked about seasonal trends and her next projects she was just like any other girl and a real pleasure to meet.
Lisa showed what she had developed and I have to say the colours and quality are beautiful. Taking inspiration from jewels and semi-precious stones, the new collection is light, and airy. I loved The Natural Radiance Eye Palette.
This is a collection of fresh, feminine shades of pink, blue, purple and green shadows. Made from natural minerals these give the multifaceted, shimmering reflections we see in real gemstones. There is also a super soft powder to illuminate the skin. The Natural Radiance Highlighter is as soft as cashmere and really gives the complexion a boost. There are also two new foundations which are being added to the range. Look out for the launch of these launches from the 27th of January 2010.
Many Thanks to Lisa for her time and for the fab gift bag too.
Craig
