Scotland's Style File

Last night, Glasgow's Old Fruitmarket was the venue for one of the most glamorous nights in the Scottish celebrity calendar where the famous, the fabulous and forward thinking style icons came in force. Pop star and model Sophie Ellis Bextor played host to the evenings awards ceremony and kicked the night off with her hit 'Heartbreak Make Me A Dancer' before introducing luminaries from the world of fashion, stage and screen and the arts. However it wasn't the singer's five costume changes that wowed the crows. Actress Louise Linton, collected the gong for Most Stylish Female. Edinburgh born Louise who appeared in the Tom Cruise and Meryl Streep's movie Lion for Lambs looked stunning in a gold mosaic mini dress.

Backstage was a buzz as models prepaired to take to the catwalk for the highly anticipated Runway Show. Fellow Scot, celebrity beauty insider and  famed therapist Nichola Joss had been on hand the day before making sure the girls looked glam. As St Tropez's Tanning expert Nichola has worked backstage at many a runway show including Roland Mouret, Carlos Miele and Matthew Williamson.

I've just been tipped off about St Tropez's latest launches due out in February which will include a skin illuminator and wash off product.I'll report back once I've received some samples.
