About Me

My photo
It's true, I'm make up mad and when I'm not writing my weekly column in Scotland's best read Sunday newspaper The Sunday Mail or my Beauty Spot page at 5pm you can find me with brush in hand working on a blushing bride. www.craigalexanderwilson.co.uk and www.createthedream.co.uk www.5pm.co.uk

Loving Le Metier de Beaute

I'm fussy with my foundations and there are a few I really love. Lauder's Double Wear, Mac Face and Body and Royal Effem's Longlasting Foundation to name a few. With my checklist of coverage, longevity and how it shoots and shows. Throw some skin loving ingredients into the mix and you'll find it isn't always easy to tick all these beauty boxes.

I was recently introduced to a brand that before I was unfamiliar with. Le Metier de Beaute is a collection of shimmering shadows in vivid colours, creamy lip colours and the amazing Flawless Finish Foundation. Mum, Model, Bride or Beauty addict. This is a must.

Lasting the pace, non transferable, and camera clear this is perfect for consumer or catwalk. A little goes a long way and is one of the best bases I have worked with.  This cutting edge US brand is only available at Liberty London but is available online. Although a flight would have been justified in order to fill my kit.

Flawless Foundation from £40.00

p.s Us Make-up Artists love kits and anything that's compact and if your favourite Fendi is more posing that packing  then take a peek at the Golden Trascendence Kaleidoscope Lip Kit too.
