Correct and Conceal- My studio secrets

Well its been a busy couple of weeks since my last blog. With shoots in and out of the studio its been kind of hectic. Just the way I like it though and what better way to test out some of my latest products.

Last week I was working with Scottish Singer and Songwriter Carrie Mac. A gorgeous gifted girl who's song, Till I See You Again is out on the 1st of May. Check it out. I love it. I even have it as my ring tone!

Well it all started at the very glam Grand Central Hotel in Glasgow where I had been booked to do a shoot for The Daily Record. Carrie was modelling the gorgeous dresses from Michelle Mone's fabulous Ultimo Couture range. I had been keen to try out the NEW Creamy Concealer and Corrector range from Bobbi Brown. This is an extensive line of skin and under eye perfecting correctors and I had been sent some from the Bobbi Press Office the week before. Lets just say I ended up hot footing it to Fraser’s to buy another few shades for my kit.

Why? Well, I like products that I can work with. Formulas that allow you to manipulate and play on the skin. Carrie had gorgeous skin and I only needed a little Corrector to illuminate and brighten under her eyes. This is a wake up call for tired eyes and with corrective tones in either peach or pink they neutralise under-eye darkness. Designed to be used before the Creamy Concealer but I found it was just enough on its own and a good one to use when you have decided to have a day that is foundation free. A must for mums on the school run!

The day after the Ultimo shoot was even more hectic and with an STV film crew following carry for some 'day in the life of ' type footage I was on hand again to keep Carrie camera ready. With a personal appearance, radio and magazine interviews as well as a gig at night I was glad Bobbi was on hand. Rushing across the city from hotel rooms, to studios in the blistering heat(not complaining) meant I had to slot in some 'refresher stops and touch ups' into the day. The Creamy Concealer I had decided to use that morning for long-lasting coverage didn’t shift and was as fresh and as colour true at 7pm that night when Carrie sang live at the Apple Store as it was when I arrived on site at 9am. If you are a girl on the go too, then check out the Creamy Concealer Kit. Conceal and set in a handy compact that gives cover and has a correcting powder that sets too.

Off to the studio now, but will report back later with some more beauty news.
