Some Summer Colour

Its been a few weeks since my last post folks. It’s been all hands on deck of late what with my new bridal site about to launch, http://www.createthedream.co.uk/, my column in The Sunday Mail and a very exciting new project which I will announce soon. As I draw a breath photo shoots, stunning weddings, a trip to Sorrento and The Scottish Fashion Awards its fair to say it’s been more than a little hectic. Phew at least I am getting back on track now so without further ado, here are some summer make up beauty bits I've been trialling over the past few weeks. Enjoy, and its good to be back.
Love Craig x

Surf's Up
Grab your board, hit the highway........Surf's Up! Launching in April this year(sadly its taken me nearly two months to have a proper play) this gorgeous collection of colours from MAC is just bursting with products perfect for Summer. From the Hibiscus Lipstick, a bright orange coral in there Creamsheen formula to the to the Powerpoint Eyepencil in Blue Noon. This Teal with gold pearl is stunning. I used it on a naked eye and without mascara for a fuss free "I'll wear what I want kinds attitude'' Stunning for surf girls everywhere. I have to say though Crushed Metallic Pigment stackers are treat du jour. I just cant put them down. Suitable stackable and easy to slot into an already crammed kit, these little pots don't half pack a punch. Available in two colour options, Surf the Ocean and Summer Stash these handy, flexible and ever so petite pots let you dip in and out when need be. Simply pick a shade and go! Summer Stash is stunning with its mix of champagne frosts and brown bronzes but its yellow/greens and dirty graphite greys in the Surf the Ocean that floats my boat. One way to make a splash that for sure. Go deep and dive in and play with this summer collection from Mac.

Crushed Metallic Pigment Stackers £25.50

PowerPoint Eye pencil £13.50

Lipstick £14.00

Feeling Hot Hot Hot!

I do love coloured lips to make a statement, but every now and then, especially in the Summer months a sheer high shine gloss can have just as much effect.. Guerlain’s sizzling selection of Moisturising Gloss is a welcome collection of shimmer free, but pigment rich glosses that with their translucent syrup shine delivers a non sticky deliciously juicy sheer shine.

Check out Salsa - A luminous Fuscia, Tango - a vibrant red and my favourite Mambo - an intense Coral £20.00
