What's on the menu for men?

When I first discovered Recipe for Men, I thought........ mmmmmmmm, another range for blokes that is nothing more than lotion for the ladies in simpler more masculine packaging. I couldn't have been further from the truth.  This range of cosmetics may sound like a culinary collection of dishes aimed at us blokes but in actual fact it's serious skincare with some premium products. On the menu last week, I started with the Clear Shaving Gel.  At £12.72, I thought this to be a fair price when I read the ingredients. Containing Lemon extract to refresh, this anti-inflammatory gel calms razor rash and left my skin clean and tingly. Having a taste for the stuff I also had to sample the SPF 15 Facial Moisturiser. Olive Extract, Aloe Vera and Cinnamon make up this light but hydrating lotion that didn't just moisturise my skin to mid day like some other 'blokey brands' and was well worth the £22.51 price tag. We may be rough and tough(well some of us) but our skin is more fragile than that of the ladies out there because we shave. Did you know that our pores are larger making us more prone to bacteria too. Thats not the only thing. We also have 50% more blood flow rushing to our skin than the other half of the species. I must admit though I have came across a few females in my time who could give me a run for my money in the stubble stakes so I guess us menfolk aren't the only ones with issues.
