Has Danni had a little Xtra help?

Well tonight, the X Factor finally hit our screens and in between some utterly hideous acts and a light scattering of bankable talent, we got a glimpse of the Aussie songbird herself, Saint Danni.
I've always been a fan and I do think she has had some bad press. The whole 'she's in Cheryl's shadow' thing did make me think that after their first series together would she look back on the footage with a magnifying glass, scrutinising every clip analysing hair, make-up and dress to confirm in her own mind if Cheryl really did have the edge?

Her new 'bob' was certainly aimed at creating a pre-show fuss and provide some renewed interest. Re-invention always gets column inches. Look at Madonna. She wrote the book on it, but it's Danni's complexion I was fascinated with. A year on from the last series and our Danni is looking years younger. With the skin of a sixteen year old she must have made every girl .....and boy reaching 40 seethe this Saturday night. I'd love to know her secret!

Smoother, wrinkle free and fresh. Is her glowing complesion down to some serious micro-dermabrasion and a little muscle relaxant? Who knows? Even if Danni has went for needles over nature, I have to say wow, its well worth it. As Danni gets younger, Cheryl's hair appears to get bigger. Am I missing a trick here? It's either as lot of back-combing or baby-bio. Any bigger and she will even cast a shadow that will eclipse Simon's smile. Even though Cheryl's hair is un-be-weave-able it didn't out do Danni.

I met Danni years ago when she performed at Colourfest in Glasgow. She was really sweet and can still see her walking backstage in a mini kilt and flat cap. Since then I thought her effort to support our national dress should be rewarded with a wee record purchase now and again. 'All I wanna do' is still on my ipod. Although 'Baby put the needle on it' may be a more suitable song

Well done Danni. Thanks for giving us all in the incentive to never give up. You have also reminded me I need a wee injection myself.
