20's beauty has me in a Flapper

Since I started watching TV's Boardwalk Empire, I've been hooked on the vintage Art Deco Style of the 20's.  When I'm not hoovering in my fringed tunic dress, I'm pouring tea from my Clarice Cliff pot. OK so I'm joking it. However last week I did step back in time when I worked on a 1920's inspired shoot for The Daily Record with Stylist and friend Vicky Fleming Brown. It was a great day and Model, Hayley Buchanan was the perfect choice. A glorious complexion and face shape made for the movies we got some good shots thanks to Photographer Paul Chappells and  of course Tony Shearer who was assisting me. A great team.

Evening in Paris

No this isn't a video of a hotel heiress shot in night vision mode but the iconic scent launched by Bourjois in 1929. One of the most celebrated scents of it's time this has been repackaged in a stylist deco cobalt blue bottle. Still modern, still romantic, a fab find.

Of course when it comes to make up there are a few of things that stand out.
