About Me

My photo
It's true, I'm make up mad and when I'm not writing my weekly column in Scotland's best read Sunday newspaper The Sunday Mail or my Beauty Spot page at 5pm you can find me with brush in hand working on a blushing bride. www.craigalexanderwilson.co.uk and www.createthedream.co.uk www.5pm.co.uk

I begin to WONDER

With a CRASH, BANG and a POW, the latest limited edition Wonder Woman range from Mac landed on my mat. Thank you.I was craving some color and something to brighten up an otherwise dull January. Was it telepathy one wonders? Bold, bright and as feisty as the crime fighting female herself this collection is camp, creative and colourful. I'd KABOOM and  SHAZAM  the bloggers who claimed it was only fit for ''Toys R Us " and 'let the kids play with it" (lets hope the kids don't draw on your couch with the liner) and my favourite' ''feel let down my Mac'. Get a grip. Pleeeeeease, drop the snobbery. It's lipstick not a lifelong membership to Mensa. Comments like this by 'respected' writers kill the creativity and encourage inhibition. Put it on, wash it off. It's make up ladies not a way of life. Enjoy it. I wonder what Wonder Woman would say to these comments.

Anyway back to beauty it it's best. Tearing open my parcel of products I screamed with delight. The comic book had come to life with products jumping from the pages. If we think about it,Wonder Woman has always known how to accessorise. That outfit and of course the gold rope used to grab the bad guys.

Mac has their very own gorgeously gold Utility Belt Eye Brush Set. A gold lame purse with matching belt that houses three mini brushes. £39.50

The Penultimate Eyeliner in Rapid Black gives pigment rich ink black colour to lids. take the line fine or full depending on your look. Either way its long lasting and sharp. £14.50

If you like red nails you will love the Obey Me Nail Lacquer. A true red that gives a real glossy finish. £10.00

Mix and play with the Eyeshadow Quads. Manilla paper has four shimmering shades of pale white frost and deeper royal blues. £36.00

Finally dare to get lippy with Wonder Woman? Try the Marquise d' Lipstick, a Sandy Cream Peach with  a lovely lustre. Tamer than some of the other shades.

There are lots more too as the range is bursting with blushers and pigments.

Available form Mac at Selfridges from 17th of February and nationwide from 3rd of March.

It would be an injustice not to but something from this range!
