Add a splash of colour this Spring

No 7's latest seasonal colour collection has been in my drawer for a few months now.  I was lucky enough to have a press preview last year when  before Christmas when I met up with Artist and the creative collaborator for the range, Lisa Eldridge. Lisa talked me through the concept for her colour creations and having used them today on a shoot I just had to fill you in with my findings.

Taking inspiration from a trip to the French Riviera, this limited edition spring colour collection draws from the white washed beaches of St Tropez. Dive into shimmering shades of aqua and coral and recreate the fresh, playful beauty looks of the rich and famous.

Lisa says "inspired by the St Tropez in the early 1960's, the birthplace of international jet set and  Brigitte Bardot, this collection focuses attention very much on the eyes".

The Eye Palette £12.50
With shades of emerald green, sky blue, beige and coral kiss the lids echoing the dusky St Tropez landscape. Easy to blend these workable colour have a lovely lustre worn alone or blended together.
I love the Monet-esque paint effect packaging.

Gel Eyeliners £10.00
I have to say its the Gel Eyeliners in Black, Blue and Turquoise that caught my eye. The formulations are fantastic and last the pace while the colour stays true. A stroke of genius. If you are familiar with the Bobbi Brown version then you will love this and with only a little needed I can see them lasting a lot longer than the season.

Lipsticks £10.00
Suitably titled Brigitte and Grace these subtle creamy pink and coral colours not only work perfectly with the rest of the collection but echo shades worn by own modern day muse and J-Lo. The creamy pink is almost nude when applied and although lets your own lip colour shine through slightly it gives an effortless everyday lustre. Love these lippies.

Nail Polish £7.00
In sweet pastel shades Sugar  i delicate lilac is ideal for day while Spice  is a more exotic coral that looks great against tanned skin. Picture yourself painting your nails up on deck as you cruise along the coastline.

Now all we need is the a silk sarong, sun hat oh and of course our airfare.  Almost there!

Available until  22nd March from Boots stores or www.boots.com
